The Ultimate Fighting Championship today officially confirmed its New England debut

A formal match up has been worked out already by the producers and organizers of todays UFC 118. It will be UFC's first card in Massachusetts since the state voted to regulate mixed martial arts.

On main event, exciting deals and techniques will be shown to great fans by the contenders namely Frankie "The Answer" Edgar defending his belt in a rematch with predecessor BJ "The Prodigy" Penn.

Much more, lighting the climax are the main card fights:
  • Middleweight: Jiu-jitsu standout Rousimar Palhares vs. ex-contender Nate "The Great" Marquardt.
  • Lightweight: Gray "The Bully" Maynard vs. No. 4 Kenny Florian, a Massachusetts native.
  • Light-heavyweight: Five-time champion Randy "The Natural" Couture vs. boxer James "Lights Out" Toney, who will make his debut as a mixed martial artist. I hope things for our debut contender will be memorable for him.
